Project 7: Investments in Westland regionWe are investing heavily in the grid in the Westland region. In the course of 2009 and 2010 new cable connections and transformer substations are to be commissioned there, which will provide more capacity. The regional electricity grid is currently undergoing expansion and the capacity for the exchange of electricity with the TenneT-operated high-voltage grid is being enlarged. The planned infrastructural expansions include a new cable link to The Hague and the construction of two new high-voltage substations at Westerlee and De Lier.
